Andrea Anders
Anders is from Madison, Wisconsin. She was raised in DeForest but is currently at Los Angeles. In 1993, she graduated from DeForest Area High school in DeForest Wisconsin. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point in 1997. In 2001, Anders earned an MA in Fine Arts at Rutgers University. Anders and her Joey co star Matt LeBlanc and their relationship was in place from 2006 to 2015. They first came together during the filming of the show, which has since been cancelled. Sean Anders is her brother. (Sex Drive; never Been Thawed). Anders was first working in the theatre in 2001. She worked with Mary Louise Parker on Broadway in Proof. In The Graduate she played Elaine Robinson. Also, she appeared as a character in On the Jump on the Arena Stage and New Doors at the Guthrie Theater. She is also a part of Two New York Stage & Film productions: Cold/Tender as well as New World Rhapsody. Anders made her debut in Fat Pig, a Geffen Playhouse production. Fat Pig ended on 1 July 2007. Anders first TV appearance was in an Dannon commercial that ran in the middle of the 1990s. She then appeared again about 2006. Anders' most famous role is Nicole Allen, a former wife of a footballer in The Class and Joey as Alex Garrett (a lawyer). In both instances she was in all of the episodes, however the shows were cancelled. Anders has also made guest appearances on One Life to Live, Law & Order, The Guiding Light and Tru Calling. In 2003 she appeared as Donna Degenhart on five episodes of the HBO drama Oz. Anders also appeared in small appearances on The Stepford Wives (2004) as Heather and Sex Drive (2008) as Brandy. Anders made an appearance on Numb3rs the year 2008 also. Anders was also a part of two unsuccessful TV pilots. Spellbound, News To Me. Anders is a regular on the show. He was cast recently for Better Off Ted. It is an ABC one-camera comedy about workplaces created by Victor Fresco.
